So, I'm turning 50 this month. That seems like a huge number, but I really don't feel any different from when I did at 30. Okay, maybe there are a few more aches and pains. But other than that, I still feel like a 21-year-old kid. I still struggle with the adulting thing, Lol.
This year especially has been fraught with changes. Emotionally, it's been a bit of a roller-coaster. I'm still desperately in love with my gorgeous husband, and he is my rock, though he would tell you it's reversed. Our daughter moved out two years ago, and since then, hubby and I... we're better than ever. I've always loved him, but now I appreciate him more, if that's possible. Through the years, people have scoffed at how much we love and dote on each other, but I wouldn't change a thing between us.
It seems like outside forces are really testing us, though. I've had to bury two horses and three dogs in the past year and a half. We're adjusting to a new position with my husband's job. Getting a puppy. I'm dealing with a bit of a health scare. And I just found out I'm going to be a grandmother.
This month especially has been a trial, but I'm determined to kick 2024's ass! I'm ending it on a high note, with two book releases people have been waiting on, and the creative juices are flowing for next year. There will probably be a DOW book next, then an LNF book. And maybe something new...
